Welcome to SoBavarian.com! What does “so Bavarian” mean? Well, back in 2008, the four of us (Brian & Misty Baker and Josh & Meagan Hove) were out on a camping trip near Leavenworth, WA. Leavenworth is the self-proclaimed “Bavarian Getaway” of the Pacific Northwest. The whole town has taken on a Bavarian theme, which is really quite interesting.
Anyway, during this trip we coined the phrase “so Bavarian” as a way to describe something that was cool, hip, fun, etc. We use it randomly in conversation and its always worth a good laugh.
On our next camping trip in the fall, we were decidedly a little bored, and decided to register the SoBavarian.com domain as a way to blog about the fun things we’ve done hanging out together. We hope you enjoy reading along!
